Tickets
In some circumstances, Jazzaldia may be forced to cancel performances, change dates, times, programmes and the performer lineup.
In case of cancellation:
In the event of Jazzaldia cancelling an event for which you have one or more tickets:
- Your ticket/s will be refunded by the same means used to purchase them.
- The cost of tickets purchased over the Internet will be automatically refunded.
- In the event of purchases made at the Victoria Eugenia and Principal Theatre ticket offices, the refund must be requested at the ticket office in question.
If the Jazzaldia cancels an event for which you have one or more season tickets:
If a concert forming part of a season ticket is cancelled, the proportional amount corresponding to said concert will be refunded at the point of sale or by the same means used to purchase it.
In case of changes:
Should Jazzaldia make changes to times, programmes or bands/artists affecting an event for which you have one or more tickets:
- You will have to request a refund.
- The refund period will be announced in each case through the regular DK channels.
- Requests submitted outside this period will be ignored.
- For tickets purchased online, a refund request should be sent to:

Should Jazzaldia make changes to times, programmes or bands/artists for which you have one or more season tickets:
- Simply making changes to one or more concerts in the programme does not give its holder the right to a partial or total refund of the season ticket.
Refunds will not be made in any other circumstances.
Unless otherwise indicated for a specific event, the maximum number of tickets you can buy is 8 per show, both for online and ticket office purchases.
Donostia Kultura non-members:
Once you have selected the show and seats of your choice, you will be asked to provide identification details: an email address and password for users who are already registered and another series of details for first-time registrations. Once you have given these details, you must accept the terms and conditions of the ticket purchase and the privacy policy before proceeding to complete the purchase process with a valid credit card. Your tickets will then be available for collection from your personal area.

Once your purchase is complete, you will receive a confirmation email, telling you that the purchase process has been successful.
The same email will contain a link for downloading your tickets. Click on the two underlined blue words where it says, “you can now download or print your tickets from this page”; this will take you directly to your tickets, from where you can download them in either PDF or mobile format.
You can show your ticket at the door in either digital or paper format (PDF, QR code, etc.).
You can choose to either print your tickets (as a PDF document) or to download them in mobile format (QR code or Wallet). You will have the option to choose either of these methods during the purchasing process and can access your personal area at any time to download them.
Whatever your choice, you will always have to show your TICKET at the door to guarantee access and/or participation in the concert.

At ticketed events not intended for children and not forming part of the Txikijazz season, children under the age of 3 years are not allowed and we recommend that you do not bring children under the age of 7. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult and cannot be left alone during the show. Tickets must be purchased for children over the age of 3 and the management reserves the right to ask that they be removed from the venue if they are causing a disturbance for other members of the audience.
For children’s events (Txikijazz) that are not free of charge, please read the conditions and instructions for access with children.
Yes, our website offers the possibility of adding your name to a waiting list for all sold out concerts. While signing up on the waiting list does not guarantee a ticket, it does mean that you will receive information enabling you to purchase tickets if they become available.
No, your concert ticket is also valid for entry to the museum.

Practical advice and rules
Punctuality is appreciated. Once the performance has started, those in charge of the venue refuse access or may seat late arrivals in a different place to the one figuring on your ticket.
No, smoking is not allowed. All venues of the San Sebastián Jazz Festival are smoke free, including concerts taking place outdoors.
Only people accredited by the Jazzaldia can take photographs and videos during the concerts.
Yes, all our venues, indoors or outdoors, have toilet facilities.
Concerts in the Plaza de la Trinidad, Kursaal Auditorioa, Victoria Eugenia Theatre and San Telmo Museoa have numbered tickets, and everyone is assigned a seat.
In all other venues available seating, should it exist, is on a first-come-first-served basis.
No, concerts are not cancelled due to the rain. The organisation will only cancel a concert if the rain or any other weather situation is so severe that it could represent a danger to the audience, artists and workers.
In the event of rain, rainproof ponchos will be distributed to the audience in the Plaza de la Trinidad.
Yes. The concerts running in the Kursaal Auditorioa are always programmed to leave sufficient time to walk to the Plaza de la Trinidad.
No, you don’t have to leave after the first concert. Two concerts are programmed in the Plaza every day, one after the other, and both are accessed with the same ticket. Once you are in the venue, you don’t have to leave and come back in for the second concert.
The seating on the side of the Keler Gunea stage are managed by the Keler brand.
No. Entry is free for all non-paying concerts, including the Keler Gunea on the Zurriola Beach and no tickets or invitations are required.

Most of the Jazzaldia venues are located in the area between the Zurriola Beach and the Nautical Club. They are all within easily walkable short distances from one another.
Some venues are further out: Chillida Leku, Kutxa Kultur, Kutxa Fundazioa Kluba, Irun...
By bus: Bus BU05. Buses run every hour from the city centre. The ‘Chillida Leku’ stop is right at the entrance to the museum. For more information and times: Lurraldebus BU05.
By taxi: You can take a taxi from any of the ranks in the city, or order one by calling: Taxi Vallina +34 943 40 40 40 Taxi Donostia +34 943 46 46 46.
By car: You will have to park your car in Galarreta and take the shuttle bus from there to Chillida Leku. The shuttle will take you back to Galarreta for up to an hour after the end of the concert.
