At Chillida Leku, Enrico Tomasso and Ignasi Gonzalez will give an intimate concert at the Zabalaga farmhouse. Meanwhile, the closing event at Txikijazz promises to draw huge crowds with Mississippi Queen & The Wet Dogs.
Later in the afternoon, one of the festival’s highlights takes centre stage, with Diana Krall performing to a packed Kutxabank Kursaal, eager to hear one of the most prominent and beloved figures in contemporary jazz.
On the Kursaal terraces, there are some interesting performances by Erromintxelak, Iñar Sastre, Thalatha, Four Clovers…
And the 61st Jazzaldia will culminate with the second of Vincent Peirani’s quintet concerts and the New Sketches of Spain project led by Erik Truffaz and Antonio Lizana, the second of the tributes to Miles Davis to bring the festival to a close.
