12 free concerts: LP + Annie & The Caldwells + ETS + Marco Mezquida Trio + Nogen + Quinteto Astor Piazzolla + Lisa Ono + Danielle Nicole + Emma-Jean Thackray + Ibibio Sound Machine + Kokoshca + HOFE

27.02.2026

The Keler Gunea stage, on Zurriola beach, will once again be Jazzaldia’s most popular and diversified space. From July 22 to 25, eight free concerts will be held there, featuring, on the one hand, four big international female stars, and four established local groups on the other. KELER, the main sponsor of the 61st Jazzaldia, lends its name to this space.

There will also be four other concerts, free of charge as well, which will take place within the Jazz Band Ball on the first day of the 61st edition of Jazzaldia, 22 July, at the Frigo Gunea and the Fnac Gunea stages, located on the terraces of the Kursaal.

Keler Gunea:

Singer and multi-instrumentalist, Emma-Jean Thackray, will perform on July 24. Her very special career path includes the release of one of the most brilliant and creative albums of 2025 in the British Isles.

Singer and bass player Danielle Nicole, one of the best representatives of modern blues, known for her powerful live performances, will perform on 23 July.

Singer of Nigerian origin, Eno Williams, leader of Ibibio Sound Machine, a multicultural London group that fuses its African influences with electropop, will perform on 23 July.

Singer LP, writer of a vast quantity of songs made famous by other artists and very well known, most of all, for her interpretation of her own song ‘Lost On You’, that boasts over 1.14 billion plays on Spotify, will perform on 22 July.

As far as the local scene goes, there will be four groups that have a large fan base mainly in the Basque Country: Kokoscha, from Pamplona, with their direct and catchy rock; HOFE, creative, contemporary and urban; Nøgen, hugely popular and fresh from their huge triumph at their Kursaal Auditorium concert to commemorate their tenth anniversary; and, above all, ETS, an extremely popular group for whom the beach may be too small.

Jazz Band Ball (July 22):

In addition to what has been announced for Keler Gunea, the Jazz Band Ball will serve up four high-quality dishes, among them the presence of one of Jazzaldia's most beloved pianists, Marco Mezquida, who will present Tāctil, his latest work in a trio.

There will also be three performances from three American countries. From the south of the United States comes Annie & The Caldwells, with roots gospel, sung by a family with a brilliant history spanning several generations of African-American music performers.

From Argentina, the Astor Piazzolla Quintet, created by the remarkable composer and bandoneon player, which continues to perform and promote an extraordinary repertoire of songs created by the Buenos Aires musician.

Finally, São Paulo-born Lisa Ono, as Brazilian as she is Japanese, singer of bossa nova and South American music, extremely popular in Japan, will be making one of her first visits to our country.
