La Ola Maldita is a surf rock band from Donostia formed in 2021. Its members are enthusiasts of surf, rock and roll, and garage music, and they perform updated versions of songs from the 1960s. Their desire, primarily, is to transport audiences to warm places with strong waves, through their cool and energetic sounds. They have played in many bars, as well as venues such as Dabadaba, Hell Dorado or Intxaurrondo, and at festivals such as Gladys the Day, Musikagela Weekend and Musikagela Fest.
Reverberating guitars, frenetic rhythms and a wild spirit. Surf, rock and roll and garage that will make you dance like you're on the California coast...only with Basque saltiness.
