Txikijazz is 14
Txikijazz will take place from 22 to 26 July as part of the Jazzaldia festival. It will feature four free, family-friendly concerts on the terraces of the Kursaal.
The 14th edition of Txikijazz will run from July 22 to 26, and all the musical programme will once again be concentrated around the terraces of the Kursaal. In addition, there will be two concert-workshops at the San Martín Market.
This family-oriented music festival will offer an exciting line-up this year, featuring outstanding vocalists such as Noa Lur, Ines Goñi and Amaya Decaudin, as well as very energetic bands such as Jazz for Children and Mississipi Queen & The Wet Dogs, which are sure to get audiences dancing. As complementary activities, workshops focusing on different themes will accompany every concert. They will be held one hour before, and are aimed at different age groups.
Txikijazz, organised by the San Sebastián Festival, was born in 2013 with the aim of creating a space where family can share and learn while taking pleasure in music and art.
The festival is designed for a generation of parents who want to share their spare time with their children, to teach them, have fun with them and encourage them to enhance their knowledge of music and art as the audience of the future.
