An exhibition entitled “Jazzaldia. Visual Journey” will be open to the public free of charge at the San Telmo Museum (Sala Laboratorio), from July 11 to September 28.  Lolo Vasco is the curator and the exhibition is organized by  San Telmo Museum and the San Sebastian Jazz Festival.

11.07.2025

Curated by photographer and artist, Lolo Vasco, who works as a photographer for the festival, it brings together a collection of more than 200 images, from the very first edition of the festival in 1966, right up to the 2024 edition.

The exhibition is a visual rather than a chronological journey, that takes us through some of the key moments at the different venues of the San Sebastian Jazz Festival, with portraits of the major artists who have been to the festival over the years.

Among the photographers (most of them from the Jazzaldia photo archive) who have captured those moments, the likes of Antonio Alonso, Antonio Torres, Davit Amunarriz, Guille García, Hilario Garrudo, Iñaki Aguirre, Iñaki Luis, Inma Casanellas, Joan Cortés, Jokin Fernández, José Horna, Juan G Andrés, Lolo Vasco, Pedro Párraga and Pepe Mateo.
