Jamie Cullum to perform at the 60th Jazzaldia
The British singer and pianist will give two concerts.
We are pleased to announce the first big star coming for the celebration of Jazzaldia’s 60th edition: Jamie Cullum. The English musician will perform on 22nd and 23rd July on two different stages and with two different lineups.
We know Cullum well at the Jazzaldia. We’ve had a ball watching his concerts solo, with his band, in the company of a big band and even as a DJ; in the Trini, at the Kursaal and on the Zurriola Beach before 45,000 people; in 2009, still in his 20s, in 2013, in 2015 to celebrate the 50th edition of Jazzaldia, and in 2019.
On all of these occasions the versatile British musician has amazed the audience with his boundless enthusiasm, his contagious joy, his formidable energy, his ability to connect with the audience and his friendly nature. Cullum sparks emotion when he sits at the piano singing like the old crooners and electrifies the audience on fronting his group. His charm and unparalleled voice have earned him a place as one of today’s most popular and best-loved Jazz artists.
In the coming months we will reveal more details of Jamie Cullum’s two concerts as well as announcing other artists who will join the celebration of the 60th Jazzaldia, to run from 22-27 July 2025.
