One of those bands that seem to be guided by instinct and an emotional compass, not manuals or established styles. Emerging out of Pamplona in 2008, and with a repertoire that now includes eight recorded albums, the group has trodden along the paths of Spanish independent pop-rock with honesty and passion.

Their music, defined by something that is unmistakably theirs, (in fact overflowing with that ‘something’)** is not easy to categorise. Their stylistic eclecticism draws on classic rock and heart-wrenching pop, as well as influences as varied as electronica, cumbia, corridos and krautrock. All in all, whatever the style of each song, Kokoshca is a band that is always recognisable, with its own unmistakable sound.

Their repertoire, full of indie classics in Spanish, combines raw guitars with soft melodies and features songs with lyrics full of choruses that make you want to sing along, songs that speak of love, memory, the future, or rather the lack of a future, misunderstanding and unwillingness to accept adulthood as destiny.

Their attitude and energy entice us into endless nights, infecting us with the non-conformity and irreverence reminiscent of punk, which can also make us veer into nostalgia, irony, humour and reflection.

Kokoshca's concert at Jazzaldia will be a celebration of community and will focus on their new album Divino Tesoro (2026). It is a compilation of 11 tracks that are eloquent testimony to the band's career as a whole. Here, undoubtedly, is an excellent opportunity to revel once again in the hits of this unique group.
