Thalatha

Through the vision of three interdisciplinary performers of different origins and ages, Thalatha is a project that explores the sound of one of the most common formats in Jazz: piano, drums and double bass.

The group emerged, on the one hand, from the reinterpretation of standards under the influence of the great trios that have marked the history of Jazz: Bill Evans, Keith Jarrett, Brad Mehldau, Kenny Barron, Christian McBride...... On the other, it also stems from original compositions that draw on the traditional music of their respective homelands, as well as from great composers from both the classical and Jazz worlds.
