The group was formed in Barcelona 1997. Their first records were made in English and from the third one onwards they began to sing in Spanish and Catalan. In these years, Sidonie have become established as one of the most important groups on the Spanish musical scene, an Indie and pop-rock reference in Spain. These sons of Barcelona have released 11 studio albums and have evolved, changing, incorporating influences, but always remaining ‘with it’ and relevant, and have broadened their fan base to become one of the most successful bands in Spain over the last two decades.

Their live performances are full of an energy that is as contagious as their songs are catchy and varied. Many of those songs are generational hymns for thousands of people: luminous and melancholic, funny and dramatic, ‘very rock’ and ‘very pop’, euphoric and introspective, naughty and serious…But always bearing their unmistakeable personal seal. No matter how different their compositions might be, they are always immediately recognisable.
