Mané is a collective of eight professional musicians. The octet focuses on the fusion of Jazz with Afro-Caribbean music. Their repertoire includes songs popularized by Cuban music icons such as Omara Portuondo and Compay Segundo, as well as energy-filled compositions that easily lend themselves to improvisation, recorded decades ago by the orchestras of Tito Puente and Jerry González. A musical journey through the classic and contemporary icons of Afro-Caribbean Jazz.
