Around since 2012, Romanian group, JazzyBIT, offer an energetic combination of Jazz and rock, splattered with blues, funk and Latino music. The group describes its style as “loud jazz”, and, as they themselves put it, they sound as if Hiromi were playing Snarky Puppy, but in a trio. They are, without doubt, one of the most original and dynamic outfits around in contemporary European Jazz.

Their debut album, Touch the Sky, was released in 2014, and was followed by Horizon, in 2016. JazzyBIT launched their third album Drive, in 2021, which was mixed in the Bunker Studio, in New York, by John Davis.
Their live shows are quite efflorescent, and in their 13 years of activity they have given over 300 concerts in 20 countries, participating in some of the most famous jazz festivals in the world, playing in many of the best clubs and performing on some of the biggest stages on the planet.

Their music, full of positive energy, is as much an invitation to contemplation as it is to movement. Their style, vigorous and modern, has appealed to audiences beyond the strict world of Jazz, and served to established them as one of the most dynamic groups of Romania, well known and liked abroad.
