Iñar Sastre

Iñar Sastre (piano)

Basque pianist, composer and improviser Iñar Sastre studied at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Paris. His work combines classical music, Jazz and popular tradition. He has performed at international festivals and venues, and regularly collaborates on dance, theatre and audiovisual projects. As a soloist and as part of various groups, he has developed a number of recording projects. Recipient of the Mikel Laboa Chair award, and also decorated by Musika Bulegoa, in addition to his artistic activity he also teaches at Musikene.
