XGFarru

Xabier Garmendia aka XGFarru, native of San Sebastian, started collecting records while living in Liverpool, thanks to his collaboration with a local radio, Melodic Distraction. That’s where he refined his taste for African sounds and Jazz. Today, his musical repertoire has broadened, to include genres such as Soul, Latin and Flamenco. As examples of his musical references, the likes of Chick Corea, De La Soul, Mulatu Astatke and Ray Barretto.

Lidiuska

Lidia G. Rojo, also known as Lidiuska. Record collector and DJ currently living in Barcelona. Part of the team of the well-known Curtis Audiophile Café, as art director and roving DJ, has also organised diverse projects and musical events, like the Barcelona J Dilla, The Welcome Sessions, Edersound and the first Block Party in Poble Nou, among others. Her influences and references range from Soul, to Funk, to Jazz, to Hip Hop, to Reggae and Disco, and in her record suitcase you’ll find artists like Donald Byrd, John Holt, Betty Wright, Tim Maia, Madlib, Leroy Hudson, ATCQ, and Larry Levan.

Sergio Vélez

Has evolved behind the turntables over the last 20 years. His constant search for change, with regard to styles, his passion for music and his search for new horizons, are such that they know no bounds. Soul, Funk, Disco, Bossa Nova, Samba, organic House and Broken Beat, always through the prism of Jazz. The mind of this native of Aragon, now settled in Madrid, is always in search of something new, after new horizons. In all these years, he has been all over Spain, has also done shows in Germany, the UK, France and even Patagonia, in Chile. He is, currently, immersed in the production of a new record which will soon be out, under the name of Stunt Keaton, the pseudonym chosen for its launch.
