In 2019, when these sons of Azcoitia created Bulego, not even in their wildest dreams would they have imagined that in only 6 years they would achieve the success they have.
From the very beginning, Bulego decided to vouch for pop and freedom, as an attitude to life, as a fundamental pillar of their music. Pop, which has so often been criticised, in so many ways, is what springs naturally from within them; it is what they do, proudly stand for and defend. They believe that the prejudices that exist towards musical genres are a thing of the past. The songs they create are therefore always driven by their impulses and tastes, with all the room necessary being given to what really makes them feel. They want, fundamentally, to forge their own path and call upon all to embrace that spirit of enjoyment, and feel life with all its highs and lows.
In their 6 years of existence as a group, they have released 3 records; they have performed at festivals such as Bilbo BBK Live, Sonorama, Muwi, Festival EHZ, Donostia Festibala, Ezcafest; they have given concerts in Finland, Brussels, Lisbon, Paris, Madrid, Barcelona, Zaragoza, Galicia and Asturias, among other places; and in 2025, they will perform in San Francisco, Sacramento, Boise and Los Angeles.
Bulego have carved out a solid name for themselves as a successful band, betting more and more heavily for pop as the years have gone by. They have captivated audiences with their vivid musical proposal and a touch of nostalgia, always full of energy and catchy melodies. There are clear influences of synth-pop and electronic music in their sound. In their lyrics, they address social issues as well as intimate themes, and reflect on emotions, relationships and the search for identity. Something which connects deeply with their generally young followers.
