Considérée comme l’une des voix les plus innovantes et transgressives de sa génération, Mariola Membrives s’est distinguée sur la scène musicale espagnole par sa capacité unique à fusionner flamenco, Jazz et musique roots, offrant une proposition artistique rafraichissante et profondément personnelle.

Tout au long de sa carrière, elle a reçu différents prix entre autres le ‘Córdoba a escena’, le prix ‘Time Out’ du meilleur créateur national ou encore le prix Altaveu. Cette année, elle présente son projet Ajuares, une série de quatre EP de six chansons, pour chaque saison de l’année, à laquelle collaborent des musiciens-clés de la scène Jazz espagnole.

À Jazzaldia, elle offrira une performance en duo aux côtés du guitariste andalou Gon Navarro, formé au Berklee College of Music et au Newpark Music Center.

Over her career, she has reaped numerous awards including the Córdoba a escena, the Time Out for best national creator and the Altaveu Award. This year she presents her project Ajuares, a set of four 6-song EPs, one for every season of the year, with the collaboration of top-notch musicians from the Spanish Jazz scene.

At Jazzaldia, she will perform in a duo format alongside Andalusian guitarist Gon Navarro, trained at the Berklee College of Music and the Newpark Music Center.
