La Quinta planta 2.0 is a Latin Jazz/Afro-Cuban group. Led by Iker Figueroa, a native of Lekeitio, it boasts musicians from the Basque country and the rest of the Spanish state, brought together for the cause.
The project was born out of an End-of-Degree course recital in Musikene, and, since then, their repertoire has evolved, incorporating original compositions by Iker Figueroa and several arrangements.
Inspired by Cuban groups and musicians, their music is a mixture of Jazz, Afro-Cuban rhythms and different styles native to that Caribbean island. Their influences include artists and groups such as Alain Pérez, El Comité, Havana D 'Primera, Pedrito Martínez...
